ALPHA CHI OMEGA
Our Chapter
The Kappa Sigma Chapter of Alpha Chi Omega was chartered at the University of Southern Mississippi on November 14, 2014. After welcoming so many amazing women in its founding year, Kappa Sigma became the first Alpha Chi Omega chapter in the state of Mississippi. Since then, our chapter has continued to grow, building a strong sisterhood rooted in leadership, service, and lifelong friendships that make our community feel like home. Our members have played such a meaningful role in the growth of our chapter both on campus and within the Hattiesburg community. From getting involved in organizations across campus to pursuing internships, jobs, and leadership opportunities, our sisters are constantly striving to grow and make an impact. We are especially proud to advocate for domestic violence awareness on a college campus, where conversations about healthy relationships, sexual assault, and support for survivors are so important. Without the love and support within our sisterhood, we would not be where we are today. Since being founded in 2014, the Kappa Sigma Chapter of Alpha Chi Omega has continued to grow into a strong and empowering community. We are so grateful for our sisters, past, present, and future, as we continue to uplift one another and make a lasting impact at Southern Miss.
