Our chapter offers
members the opportunity to engage in leadership positions as soon as
they join. With 15
executive board positions, and 30+ non-executive chair positions, we offer vast room for our sisters to develop leadership and
professional skills!

College Panhellenic Membership
When joining a sorority, you also accept membership into the College Panhellenic at your university.
The College Panhellenic Council (CPC) at Southern Miss is what connects us to the other eight CPC chapters on our campus, as well as our national organization, the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC). NPC joins chapters all across the nation together and has created unanimous agreements and bylaws for all chapters that are unified under this conference.

Community Service
Kappa Sigma expects our members to complete eight community service hours per semester. Hours should be verified through USM's Get Connected platform.
Members are involved in various community service projects throughout the semester with different organizations. Southern Miss has a platform titled, "Get Connected" that we use to find community service opportunities for ourselves and our sisters. Members also complete several community service hours by serving our philanthropy, domestic violence awareness.
