Our chapter participates in formal recruitment every August at Southern Miss. Additionally, we participate in continuous open bidding year-round if we have available membership spots. We recently concluded our formal recruitment process and we are looking forward to participating in Spring COB, pending eligibility. Year after year, we work to grow closer in the bond of Alpha Chi Omega by pursuing sisterhood, community, and campus engagement. We strive to make an impact on the community around us as we empower others to fight against domestic violence and sexual assault.
We pride ourselves as "Real. Strong. Women." Real, strong women who attempt to build ourselves up in confidence, humility, and service.
Our chapter looks for women who can add on to the legacy of Alpha Chi Omega by making a true impact on others.
A Glimpse Into Bid Day at Alpha Chi
Bid day is one of Alpha Chi's favorite events! Bid day is held at the conclusion of the spring and fall recruitment processes. Members will "run" home into their new sister's arms after receiving a bid to join their new chapter. On bid day, you can expect dancing, food, activities, and a whole lot of love!
Here at Alpha Chi Omega, we are counting down the days until our next bid day celebration! Bringing new members into this chapter is something that we all admire and cherish.
